Widening the road to improve overtaking opportunities

Transport Scotland are working to improve traffic flow at the Sherriffhall Roundabout, which currently experiences high levels of congestion.

The project involved the construction of a new off-line bypass to the east of the town of Dalry and associated junctions to connect to the existing A737 Trunk Road.

The purpose of the scheme is to improve the A737 trunk road from north of the B777 Wardrop Street to Manrahead Roundabout.
