We are currently seeking applications for B2 Graduate Engineers.

As a Graduate, you will join our large, highly professional Civil Engineering and Transport Planning teams across the organisation, which will provide you with the opportunity to be part of a team working on our major infrastructure projects or contributing to the other important policies that Transport Scotland delivers.

The Transport Scotland Graduate Scheme is accredited by the ICE, CIHT and TPP. It will provide you with an excellent opportunity to develop and attain Chartered status, while also preparing you for working as a senior professional within the industry.

Our system of internal rotations within Transport Scotland, along with external secondments to Design Consultancies and construction sites, will allow you to develop skills and benefit from exemplar training from across the construction industry. This means your internal placements could range from working with one of our road design teams, to a rail project, or working with our strategy and analysis teams amongst other options. As a result, you will be provided with an overall broader experience in terms of both the practical aspects of planning and engineering, along with the skills to project manage the engineering process and make sound engineering judgements, ensuring that you are best equipped to prepare for your Chartered Professional Review.
