We are currently seeking applications for two Corporate Communications Manager vacancies.

Our Corporate Communications team is dedicated to ensuring that our Transport Scotland colleagues are informed, engaged and have their voices heard. We develop internal communications strategies and deliver a range of activities which help our colleagues understand our purpose and priorities, and engage with our vision and values.

As a crucial member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality service to the organisation, focusing on internal communications and employee engagement.

This role requires specialist communications skills and expertise.

Our small dynamic team often works within a fast paced and changing environment where deadlines vary, so you’ll need strong planning and organisational skills and be able to effectively prioritise.

You will demonstrate excellent analytical skills, and you will work confidently and flexibility with colleagues, at all levels, to give ideas and credible advice, and develop and deliver communications activity such as news articles, briefings, blogs and events.

Essential Criteria

  1. Experience of working within a changing communications environment, with excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  2. Proven track record of delivering successful and strategic internal communications and events plans based on evidence and insight, that supports business outcomes.
  3. Excellent writing, editing and digital skills and the ability to tailor content for different channels and audiences to tight deadlines.
  4. A confident and clear communicator with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with stakeholders, at all levels.
