Overnight Traffic Management on A9 Dualling: Tomatin to Moy

Overnight temporary traffic signals and a convoy system will be in operation on the A9 between Tomatin and Moy as part of the A9 Dualling: Tomatin to Moy works from 7:30pm to 6:30pm the following day for three nights, from Monday 9 February to allow for essential maintenance works to take place on the A9 carriageway.

During this period, temporary traffic signals will be in place at various locations throughout the project area with a convoy system in place to escort road users safely through the works, led by a convoy vehicle.

Road users should note that the set of temporary traffic signals in place to support ongoing planned drainage works in the Dalmagarry and Moy areas will remain in place and operational during this period and therefore two sets of traffic signals will be encountered while the essential maintenance works are ongoing.

These works, and the associated traffic management measures, are essential to ensure the safety of both road users and the workforce, as activities will be carried out close to live traffic on the A9.

Delays are expected to be minimal, with works taking place overnight, however, both sets of signals will be manned at all times to help manage traffic flow and minimise disruption.

Pedestrian and emergency service access will be maintained at all times.

Please note that these dates may change depending on weather conditions. For the most up‑to‑date information, visit the A9 Dualling website.
