A9 Dualling: Tay Crossing to Ballinluig – overnight traffic signals on A9 north of Jubilee Bridge/Tay Crossing

Works which began on 31 August on the A9 north of the Jubilee Bridge/Tay Crossing have been extended by two weeks to Tuesday 29 September.

The overnight temporary traffic signals with convoy working in two locations will now be in place on the A9 in between Jubilee Bridge and Ballinluig for approximately 21 weekday nights between 7pm and 6am. There are no planned weekend night works.

From Tuesday 29 September, the temporary traffic signals will be removed and the temporary realignment, which was originally anticipated to be in use from 12 September, will be in operation. Road users are advised to pay attention to altered signage and line marking layouts as they approach the area.

These works are required to enable construction of a temporary realignment of the A9 to the west of its existing location to facilitate future construction work and utility diversion works in this area as part of the A9 Dualling: Tay Crossing to Ballinluig project.

Maps showing the locations of these works are provided below.

Please approach the area with care and allow extra time for journeys while these works are carried out.
