The M90/A90/A9000 Trunk Road (Queensferry Crossing) (Temporary Prohibition on Use of Road) Order 2020

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(a) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting traffic on the following lengths:

That length of the M90/A90/A9000 Edinburgh – Fraserburgh Trunk Road being the northbound carriageway from the Queenferry Junction (M90 J1A) exit slip road to the merge slip road at Ferrytoll Junction (M90 J1B), a distance of 5.12 kilometres or thereby.

That length of the M90/A90/A9000 Edinburgh – Fraserburgh Trunk Road being the southbound carriageway from the Ferrytoll Junction (M90 J1B) exit slip road to the merge slip road at Queenferry Junction (M90 J1A) a distance of 5.12 kilometres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to facilitate works will be in operation from 15 August until 31 August 2020 and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles while being or vehicles being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes or a vehicle being used for carrying out the works.
