The M90/A90/A9000 Trunk Road (Fraserburgh) (Temporary Prohibition on Use of Road) (No. 2) Order 2022

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting traffic on that length of the M90/A90/A9000 Trunk Road at Fraserburgh from its junction with Links Road in a generally northerly direction to its junction with High Street, a distance of 773 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to facilitate the Santa Parade and to enable members of the public to watch this event, will be in operation from 3 December until 4 December. It is anticipated the order will only be in operation between 10:00 and 12:00 and will only have effect in relation to such length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles while being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes, or a vehicle being used for facilitating the holding of the relevant event.

Alternative Route

An alternative route is not required.
