The M90/A90 Trunk Road (Tealing) (Temporary Prohibition of Specified Turns) Order 2019

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(a) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 temporarily prohibiting traffic on that length of the M90/A90/A9000 Edinburgh – Fraserburgh Trunk Road being the northbound and southbound carriageways from a point 180 metres or thereby south of their intersection with the projected centre line of the road known as the ZC6 to Tealing, Angus, in a generally southerly direction to a point 330 metres or thereby south of said intersection, a distance of 150 metres or thereby. From making the following turns :-

1.  All right turns from the M90/A90/A9000 Edinburgh – Fraserburgh Trunk Road to the road known as the ZC6 to Murroes, Angus.

2. All right turns from the road known as the ZC6 from Murroes, Angus, to the M90/A90/A9000 Edinburgh – Fraserburgh Trunk Road.

3. All left turns from the road known as the ZC6 from Murroes, Angus, to the M90/A90/A9000 Edinburgh – Fraserburgh Trunk Road.

The Order, which is required to allow the safe installation of apparatus associated with new vehicle activated road signage will be in operation from 5 August until 26 August 2019, but will only have effect in relation to such lengths of road as are indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply a vehicle being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes or a vehicle being used for carrying out the works.
