The M90/A90 Trunk Road (Finavon Junction) (Temporary Prohibition of Specified Turns) Order 2017

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(a) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting traffic on that length of the M90/A90 Edinburgh—Fraserburgh Trunk Road from a point 125 metres or thereby north of its junction with the centreline of the road known as the B957 to Finavon, Angus, to a point 25 metres or thereby south of its junction with the centreline of the B957 road, Angus, a distance of 150 metres or thereby.

  1. All right turns from the southbound M90/A90 Edinburgh - Fraserburgh Trunk Road to the road known as the B957 to Finavon
  2. All right turns from the road known as the B957 from Finavon to the southbound M90/A90 Edinburgh - Fraserburgh Trunk Road.

The Order, which is required to facilitate the signing and lining work on the central reservation, will be in operation from 13 November until 16 December 2017. The prohibition on use will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as indicated by appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles while being used to facilitate the holding of the event or vehicles being used in an emergency for fire brigade, coastguard, ambulance or police purposes, or a vehicle being used for carrying out the work.

Alternative Routes

Alternative route for traffic is not required.
