The A977 Trunk Road (Longannet Roundabout to Gartarry Roundabout) (Temporary Prohibition on Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Order 2021

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(b) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 temporarily prohibiting waiting, loading and unloading on that length of the A977 Longannet Roundabout to the Gartarry Roundabout Trunk Road, being the eastbound and westbound carriageway from its junction with Manse Road west to its junction with Broomknowe Drive, a total distance of 575 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to prohibit traffic because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to works, will be in operation during COP26 from 31 October until 15 November 2021, but will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the lengths of road as are indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes.
