The A95 Trunk Road (Grantown-on-Spey) (Temporary 20mph Speed Restriction) Order 2020

The Scottish Ministers hereby give notice that they have made the above Order, under sections 2(1) , 4(1) and 14(1)(b) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will have the effect of imposing temporary speed restrictions of 20mph on that length of the A95 Granish to Keith Trunk Road from a point 400 metres or thereby south-west of the extended centre line of its junction with the A939 road to a point 2.31 kilometres or thereby north-east of the extended centre line of its junction with the A938 road, a distance of 950 metres or thereby.

The Order will be in place from 26 March 2020 to 27 March 2020 and is required to ensure that a roadside interview survey may be undertaken safely. A risk to staff working within the site has been identified while traffic is travelling at the normal road speed.

Alternative routes

An alternative route for traffic during the restriction is not required.
