The A92 and A96 Trunk Roads (Haudagain Improvement) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Specified Turns and Temporary 20mph, 30mph and 40MPH Speed Restrictions) Order 2022
The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(b) and (4), of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting waiting, temporarily prohibiting specified turns and temporarily restricting the speed of vehicles on the lengths of road identified in this Notice.
Prohibition on waiting
1. That length of the re-aligned Manor Avenue being the east side from the extended south kerbline of the A92/A96 Dual Carriageway Link Road in a south westerly direction for a distance of 19 metres or thereby.
2. That length of the re-aligned Manor Avenue being the west side from the extended south kerbline of the A92/A96 Dual Carriageway Link Road in a south westerly direction for a distance of 25 metres or thereby.
3. That length of the A92/A96 Dual Carriageway Link Road being the eastbound carriageway from the extended south kerbline of A96 Auchmill Road to the west kerbline of Logie Avenue, a distance of 230 metres or thereby.
4. That length of the A92/A96 Dual Carriageway Link Road being the eastbound carriageway from the extended east kerbline of Logie Avenue to the west kerbline of A92 North Anderson Drive, a distance of 185 metres or thereby.
5. That length of the A92/A96 Dual Carriageway Link Road being the westbound carriageway from the extended west kerbline of A92 North Anderson Drive to the east kerbline of re-aligned Manor Avenue, a distance of 235 metres or thereby.
6. That length of the A92/A96 Dual Carriageway Link Road being the westbound carriageway from the extended west kerbline of Re-aligned Manor Avenue to the south kerbline of A96 Auchmill Road, a distance of 245 metres or thereby.
7. That length of Logie Avenue being the west side from a point 17 metres or thereby north of the north kerbline of the A92/A96 Dual Carriageway Link Road in a north easterly direction for a distance of 35 metres or thereby.
8. That length of Logie Avenue being the east side from a point 19 metres or thereby north of the north kerbline of the A92/A96 Dual Carriageway Link Road in a north easterly direction for a distance of 80 metres or thereby.
9. That length of Manor Avenue being the north side from a point 165 metres or thereby east of the east kerbline of re-aligned Manor Avenue to the south kerbline of Manor Avenue, a distance of 56 metres or thereby.
10. That length of Logie Terrace being the east side from a point 36 metres or thereby south of the extended southern kerbline of Logie Place to the west kerbline of Logie Terrace, a distance of 56 metres or thereby.
11. That length of the 871 Great Northern Road Access Road being the east side from the extended south kerbline of A96 Great Northern Road to the access to 871 Great Northern Road, a distance of 52 metres or thereby.
12. That length of the 871 Great Northern Road Access Road being the west side from the extended south kerbline of A96 Great Northern Road to the access to 871 Great Northern Road, a distance of 75 metres or thereby.
13. That length of the re-aligned Manor Avenue being the west side from a point 234 metres or thereby east of the east kerbline of Manor Walk in an easterly direction for a distance of 15 metres or thereby.
14. That length of the A92/A96 Dual Carriageway Link Road being the eastbound carriageway from a point 117 metres or thereby east of the extended south kerbline of A96 Auchmill Road in a south easterly direction for a distance of 50m or thereby.
15. That length of the A92/A96 Dual Carriageway Link Road being the eastbound carriageway from a point 115 metres or thereby west from the extended west kerbline of A92 North Anderson Drive in a north westerly direction for a distance of 50m or thereby.
16. That length of the A92/A96 Dual Carriageway Link Road being the westbound carriageway from a point 75 metres or thereby west from the extended west kerbline of A92 North Anderson Drive in a north westerly direction for a distance of 50m or thereby.
17. That length of A96 Auchmill Road being the westbound side from a point 8 metres or thereby east of the extended north kerbline of the A92/A96 Dual Carriageway Link Road in a easterly direction for a distance of 50m or thereby.
18. That length of Logie Avenue being the west side from a point 52 metres or thereby north of the north kerbline of the A92/A96 Dual Carriageway Link Road in a north easterly direction for a distance of 15 metres or thereby.

19. That length of the A92/A96 Dual Carriageway Link Road from its junction with the A92 to its junction with the A96, a distance of 495 metres or thereby.
30mph Speed Restriction
20. That length of the re-aligned Manor Avenue from its junction with the A92/A96 Dual Carriageway Link Road to the existing Manor Avenue, a distance of 210 metres or thereby.
20mph Speed Restriction
21. That length of the existing Manor Avenue from its junction with the re-aligned Manor Avenue east to its stopped-up junction, a distance of 200 metres of thereby.

Specified Lengths of Road
22. That length of the A92/A96 Dual Carriageway Link Road being the westbound carriageway from a point 215 metres or thereby northwest of the extended west kerbline of Re-aligned Manor Avenue to the south kerbline of A96 Auchmill Road, a distance of 30 metres or thereby.
23. That length of the A92 North Anderson Drive being the southbound carriageway from a point 30 metres or thereby southeast of the extended south kerbline of Clifton Road, to a point 70 metres or thereby southeast of the extended south kerbline of Clifton Road, a distance of 40 metres or thereby.
Specified Turns
24. All right turns from the westbound A92/A96 Dual Carriageway Link Road to the eastbound A96 Aberdeen – Inverness Trunk Road.
25. All right turns from the southbound M90/A90 Edinburgh – Fraserburgh Trunk Road to the westbound A92/A96 Dual Carriageway Link Road.
The Order, which is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to works will be in operation from 11 May 2022 and shall cease to have effect on 31 March 2023. The no waiting, specified turns and speed restrictions will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the lengths of road as are indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
No speed restriction imposed by the Order applies to vehicles being used in the service of the Special Forces or vehicles being used in an emergency for coastguard purposes.
