The A9 Trunk Road (Auchterarder Junction at A824) (Temporary Prohibition of Specified Turns) Order 2021

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(a) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting specified right turns on that length of the M9/A9 Edinburgh – Stirling – Thurso Trunk Road from a point 230 metres or thereby north east of its junction with the A824 in a generally south west direction to its junction with the said A824, a distance of 0.25 kilometres or thereby.

Specified Turns

1. All right turns from the southbound M9/A9 Edinburgh – Stirling – Thurso Trunk Road to the A824.

2. All right turns from the A824 to the M9/A9 Edinburgh – Stirling – Thurso Trunk Road southbound.

The Order, is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be in operation from 20 June until 25 July 2021 and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
