The A85 Trunk Road (Methven) (Temporary Prohibition On Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Order 2022

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(a) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to prohibit temporarily waiting, loading and unloading on that length of the A85 Perth – Lochearnhead Trunk Road from a point 93 metres or thereby east of its junction with unclassified Road, C409, Methven in a general westerly direction along Main Street, Methven to a point 148 metres or thereby west of its junction with James Street, Methven a total distance of 1.4 kilometres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to facilitate a carriageway resurfacing programme will be in operation from 4 August until 13 August.

The Order does not apply to vehicles while being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes or vehicles being used for carrying out the works.

Alternative Route

An alternative route is not required.
