The A85 Trunk Road (Crieff) (Temporary Prohibition On Use of Road) Order 2021

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting traffic on that length of the A85 Perth – Lochearnhead Trunk Road from a point 50 metres or thereby southwest of its junction with Rectory Road, Crieff in a generally south-westwards direction along Perth Road and East High Street and then westwards along High Street, James Square and West High Street and then north-westwards in Comrie Street and Comrie Road to a point 50 metres or thereby west of its junction with Burrell Street, Crieff, a distance of 1 kilometre or thereby.

The Order, which is required to facilitate the Crieff Remembrance Service and will be in operation from 14 November until 15 November 2021. It is anticipated that the restrictions will be in place for approximately 10 minutes and then for a further period of approximately 30 minutes later on in the day and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs

The Order does not apply to vehicles being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes or a vehicle being used for facilitating the holding of the relevant event.
