The A85 Trunk Road (Comrie) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Order 2022

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(a) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting parking, waiting, loading and unloading on that length of the that length of the A85 Perth – Lochearnhead Trunk Road from its centreline junction with the ZU199 Monument Road, Comrie on Dundas Street in a general south easterly direction to Nurses Lane Comrie and extending in a general south easterly direction to a point 380 metres or thereby south-west of its junction with said ZU199 Monument Road, Comrie, a distance of 981 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to facilitate carriageway surfacing works between 00:01 hours on 20 November to 00:01 hours on 23 December. Restrictions on the trunk road will only be in operation for part of this period as indicated by the relevant traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles while being used in an emergency for Scottish Fire and Rescue, coastguard, ambulance or police purposes or to acts done with the permission or upon the direction of a police constable in uniform. Access to pedestrians will be maintained at all times.

Alternative Routes

Alternative routes for traffic during the prohibition will not be required.
