The A83 Trunk Road (Arrochar) (Temporary Prohibition on Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Order 2022

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(b) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 temporarily prohibiting the waiting, loading or unloading of vehicles on that length of the A83 Tarbet – Lochgilphead – Campbeltown trunk road at Arrochar from a point 445 metres or thereby north of its junction with the A814, Arrochar to a point 1.666 kilometres or thereby south west of its junction with the entrance to the Succoth car park, a distance of 2.34 kilometres or thereby.

The Order, which is required for road safety, will be in operation from 14 April until 14 November 2022 and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes.
