The A82 Trunk Road (Tomnahurich Street, Inverness) (Temporary Prohibition on Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Order 2018

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and 2, 4(1) and 14(1)(a) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting waiting, loading and unloading on that length of the A82 Dalnottar – Inverness Trunk Road known as Tomnahurich Street from its junction with Ardross Place, Inverness north eastwards to its junction with Planefield Road, Inverness, a distance of 75 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to facilitate works on that length of trunk road, will be in operation from 11 April 2018 until 14 April 2018 and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to a vehicle being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes or a vehicle being used for carrying out the works.

An alternative route is not required.
