The A77 Trunk Road (Glendoune Street, Girvan) (Temporary Prohibition on Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Order 2020

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(a) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting traffic from waiting, loading and unloading on that length of the A77 Glasgow - Stranraer Trunk Road known as Glendoune Street in Girvan, being the north and southbound carriageway, from its junction with Duff Street southwards to a point 60 metres north of its junction with Peidmont Road and Firth Terrace, a distance of 65 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to facilitate works by Kier on behalf of Scottish Water to repair defective ironwork will be in operation from 7 July until 8 July 2020 and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes or vehicles being used for carrying out the works.
