The A702 Trunk Road (Carlops) (Temporary Prohibition on Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Order 2018

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(a) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting traffic on that length of the A702 Edinburgh to Abington Trunk Road being the southbound and northbound carriageways between Carlops Bridge, at Scroggy Brae, to Windy Gowl Farm Access, a total distance of 350 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to allow works to be carried out , will be in operation from 29 October 2018 until 10 November 2018, but will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the lengths of road as are indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles while being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes or vehicles being used for carrying out the works.
