A83 - (Tarbert) - (Temporary Prohibition of Use on Road) (No. 2) Order 2022

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1), (2), 4(1) and 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting traffic on that length of the A83 Tarbet – Lochgilphead – Campbeltown Trunk Road from its junction with Harbour Street, Tarbert in a generally westwards direction to its junction with Lady Ileene Road, Tarbert, a distance of 140 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to facilitate the Tarbert Remembrance Day Parade 2022 and to enable members of the public to participate in this event, will be in operation from 13 November until 14 November and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. 

The Order does not apply to vehicles while being used in connection with the placing of the required signage or vehicles being used in an emergency for fire service, coastguard, ambulance or police purposes or to acts done with the permission or upon the direction of a police constable in uniform.

Alternative Routes

An alternative route for traffic during the prohibition is not required.
