This report presents a summary of the A96 Corridor Review Case for Change and the A96 Corridor Review Strategic Business Case – Transport Appraisal Report, which together form the Strategic Business Case for the A96 Corridor Review

This report presents details of the Preliminary Appraisal and Detailed Appraisal phases of the A96 Corridor Review, undertaken in accordance with Scottish Transport Appraisal Guidance. This comprises both the approach and outcomes of the appraisal process at each of these stages.

A key part of the recommendations of STPR2 was to consider altering National Speed Limits to promote reductions in collision rates and severity. This report identifies two specific options for consideration on Scotland’s National Speed Limit roads.

Published annually, this report includes Scottish Household Survey transport data, including results from the Travel Diary.
