A smart e-Purse which enables passengers to add e-money onto their Prentice Coaches saltirecards either online or on the bus

Customers may purchase and load 1 day and 7 day ABC smart tickets that can be used on any bus in the region and loaded onto any Stagecoach card, Discovr card, Moffat and Williamson card, the National Entitlement, Young Persons or Kidz card – the saltirecard family of smartcards

The new smart form of travel is ideal for pupils travel patterns as it only deducts 1 journey when they travel, and reduces the requirement for children to carry cash with them, permitting quicker and easier boarding

This extended service now enables almost 470 children entitled to free school travel to use their Young Scot saltirecard, pre-loaded with their school travel ticket, to tap on and off bus during school hours

The new service now enables 160 pupils to travel to and from school by simply tapping their Young Scot saltirecard on any Stagecoach electronic ticketing machine within the region
