Forth Replacement Crossing - new Project Director for Contractor
A Transport Scotland spokesman said:
“Transport Scotland has accepted the proposal to appoint Michael Martin as the new Project Director for Forth Crossing Bridge Constructors (FCBC) on the Forth Replacement Crossing project. This follows Carlo Germani’s decision to leave his position as Project Director.
“After three and a half years Carlo Germani has made a hugely significant contribution to the successful delivery of the project to date. We look forward to working closely with his successor Michael Martin as we move into the final two years of construction. The project remains on schedule and under budget.”
Michael Martin has been a member of the FCBC Board for the past two years and has a detailed knowledge of FCBC and the project as a whole. Michael brings 40 years of construction and civil engineering experience in senior positions within the industry.
