A8 near Baillieston and M8 eastbound J8 off-slip road

The A8 eastbound Baillieston Cross to Bargeddie Roundabout will be closed to allow for the Pedal for Scotland cycling event.

The A8 Glasgow and Edinburgh Road from Baillieston Cross, which becomes A89 Coatbridge Road on approach to Bargeddie Roundabout, will be closed from 8pm on Saturday 8 September until 4pm on Sunday 9 September 2018.

As a result, the M8 eastbound Junction 8 off-slip road to the A89/A8 will also be closed for the same duration.

Road users are advised to plan their journey and use an alternative route if possible.
