The second series of overnight construction works will continue on the £9.2m A82 Pulpit Rock Improvement scheme from 10pm on Monday 4th November.

"Survey work underway now on the A9 will cover the equivalent of 30,000 football fields" said Transport Minister Keith Brown during a visit to Drumochter today.

The A77 will close between the Dutch House roundabout at Monkton to the Bellfield roundabout this weekend as part of a £10.6 million improvement scheme on the key arterial route between Glasgow and Stranraer.

Ground investigations are underway at Berriedale Braes, on the northernmost section of the A9, to help identify a solution to the hairpin bend.
