Safety Cameras Ensure Driver and Worker Safety on Central Scotland’s Motorway Network Drivers and road workers are to benefit from enhanced road safety following the installation of safety cameras across the M8 M73 M74 Motorway Improvements Project.

Locals and road users in the Pitlochry and Killiecrankie area will have a chance to see and comment on initial design work for the Scottish Government’s ambitious A9 Dualling programme.

Vital ground investigation work is due to get underway next month on the southern section of the A9 between Birnam and Glen Garry.

The first rock drilling and blasting on the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route/Balmedie-Tipperty project will begin on 22 July 2015.

Transport Minister Derek Mackay was driven today in an HGV along the over 10 mile section of the A82 between Tarbet and Inverarnan which is to be upgraded.

Intermittent traffic management will start on the A96 at the site of the new Craibstone and Dyce Drive junctions from Saturday 11 July to enable the planned completion of the two junctions by Autumn 2016.
