Recording and sharing information

Recording

It is important that that there is a clear record whenever action has been taken documenting:

  • how the organisation has actively worked to restore a relationship to avoid restrictions
  • when and what restrictions have been put in place
  • when we take a zero-tolerance approach.

This should include storing any online evidence such as screenshots. Material that is being stored as evidence may be personal or distressing. This should always be stored in a way that it cannot be accidentally or unintentionally accessed.

Sharing information

Transport Scotland need to ensure all relevant staff are aware of actions taken and restrictions to make sure our actions are effective. This will vary depending on the action and decisions on sharing should be noted and recorded.
